The Theory of Mind

We are born with three responses, fight, flight, and freeze. Everything else is a learnt behavior. There for everything learnt can be unlearnt. The subconscious mind is made up of 88%. This part of the mind, is where our automatic living comes from. Our behaviors, thoughts, and habits. Such as drinking a beverage when we are thirsty, putting on more clothes when we are cold. Even the men and women we pick as partners. Everything has been conditioned into our knowns in the subconscious mind. As we grow older we start to understand that we don't like certain people, behaviors, foods, and habits.

Our conscious mind is only 12%, and this is where all the logic, analytical, decisions, will power, and changes want to happen.  For instance you want to find true love, but you keep picking the same person with different faces. This is because you have been conditioned by previous experiences, to like certain traits in individuals. This is a known to you. Everything else is experienced as dangerous and unidentified. The conscious mind wants to find a different type of partner, checks with the subconscious mind if a new type of person, with different traits is a known. The subconscious mind does not recognize the traits and new type, and sees this as an uncertainty aka danger! So it punts the idea out and creates resistance because it is not congruent between the two parts of the mind. It doesn't mean you cannot change a behavior, or your type, it will just take effort and time. 

This can be fast-tract with the help of hypnosis. Hypnosis is a natural state. Every time you zone out to music, watch a movie,  day-dream, drive on autopilot; you go in and out of hypnosis. You are still very much aware of what you are doing, in control of your actions but you have allowed yourself to access a different part of your mind, which is what I call automatic living. You are moving to the motions of habit and experience, this is all stored in the subconscious mind. This is where we can update and fine-tune your beliefs, stories, and knowns that you learn early on as a child/adult to survive. With hypnosis we can adapt your survival instincts and patterns to thrive in your life and your new goals.
